I installed new os(win7). i dont kw hw to turn on my web cam. i download & installed the drivers (ROXIO). any software dat might help me 2 use my cam?

You can download "Drivers & Software" for Win7 (32bit & 64Bit) @ http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp600#DriversAndSoftware

Select your OS ie Win7(32bit) or Win7(64bit).

Disconnect the printer from the PC, and delete the printer you have installed & remove all the software previously installed on the PC. Reinstall the download "Drivers & Software".

The driver that you are going to download is free! However, you will not be able to download a direct driver for Windows 7. But dont worry, just kindly follow these steps:
1)Just copy and paste this link to your browser: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=351125
2)next, in the option to select your Operating System from the drop down box, select first Windows Vista.
3)download and install the Full Product installation software (it will let you install the driver for Windows Vista in Windows 7.. the trick is on the next step)
4)Once the software is already installed, access again the same link for the drivers. Then instead of choosing Windows Vista for the OS Type, select Windows 7 32bit.
5)Click on the Update link, then download the HP Print Software Patch When upgrading from vista to Win7
6)after downloading, install the file and restart the computer
7)Once you get back to Windows, you should be able to have your printer working

u will need drivers for the cam....but for that you will have to register your Win7 copy and make full updates to your Win7....if your copy is legal go to MS website and register your copy and update....
all drivers for your system will be installed only based on your legal copy..... else you will have to go back to old OS....
Win7...has limitations of driver for hardwares as many mfgs of HW have not created drivers for the old HWs....as the Win7 OS source code to create drivers have not been provided by MS to them.....

You can use a program like Nero, Imgburn, Roxio, or any other program that deals with iso images. Burn the cd, install the driver, and then start using your webcam!

1. It's a driver compatibility problem with Windows 7.

2. Install the driver for web camera which is compatible on Windows 7 using the bundled CD/DVD.

3. Update the web cam driver using Windows Update!

4. Restart the system.

There are two files needed for the webcam to work. Go to the HP support driver page and look for the driver for the Cyberlink Youcam. You'll have to put the exact model number in a special search box in order to download the youcam software from HP
