Question about Epson Stylus 2200 InkJet Photo Printer
My 2200 has performed beautifully for years with my Windows XP 2000. I transported it by car to my mountain home and connected it to a new pc with Vista operating system. At first I had problems with the color. I cleaned the print head several times and replaced 3 cartridges (no warning about low ink -in fact, I can't access that info on my computer - I just noticed the flashing red lights. I then decided the problem might be Vista and went to the Epson website and downloaded a new driver (after uninstalling the old one). I also downloaded a file that should enable the low ink warning, but that is still not working. Now when I try to print it will only print after I shut down the computer. The color is still bad - sometimes cloudy, always with a red cast. I'm at my wit's end. Help please!!
Try to un-install the driver first of the printer, after you do this Install again the printer driver..
