Speaker connected to your computer? i think the problem is not linked to the router. anyway, what happened if the router is off?
better connect your pc directly to your modem then check if you have the same problem. if the same problem happens then it has something to do with the pc.

Connecting 4 ohm speakers

I don't think it has anything to do with the impedance. The amp and speakers are well in the allowed limits. The only time this is a problem is if you connect an amp with a greater impedance then the speakers.
This sounds like something to do with the HK 990. It could have a fault on it. You could try listening with headphones if the HK 990 has a socket for them. If they have low sound, there's an electrical fault in the power amp of the HK 990.

Check that the sound is not muted from audio properties on control panel.

If it is not that you may need to reinstall the driver.

if you go to the bios (restart computer and press del to go to setup) you should be able to look around and find the option for internal speaker. Set that option to disable and do not change anything else unless you know your way around. Save it and restart afterwards and it should disable the internal speakers.

If you are running Windows 7 you can have audio set up to listen to the mic. I would not recommend this though as there is a slight delay from you talking to it coming out of the headphone. This can cause you to stumble on your words. But solely for testing purposes do this if you use Windows 7:

1. RIght click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your display and select recording devices.

2. Make sure the microphone you use is highlighted blue then click properties button in lower right corner of the window.

3. Click on the listen tab, then check the box that says listen to this device.wdaexodus.png

Static noise coming out of speakers

What sort of computer do you have? Is it a laptop or desktop? Many laptops have this problem and it is quite widespread in laptops. The crackling or humming noise could be a result of interference from the mains power signal.

If it's a laptop, try running it on battery alone (take out the mains power cord). My laptop has this kind of noise in speakers when running on mains electrical supply, but it goes away like magic when I run it on battery.

A more long-term solution is to buy a 'Ground Loop Isolator' and insert it between your computer and the speakers/earphones. They are quite cheap and you could get it for under £10. It removes all static noise and you'll hear crystal clear sound.

Acura legend radio

Sounds like the speaker is blown - factory speakers are usually pretty cheaply made and not very high quality, so even normal listening volumes can destroy them - you don't have to crank the radio to blow them. If the speaker is on the rear deck, it may be accessible from inside the trunk - take a look there and see if it unbolts.

Snap, crackle sound from Sanyo TV

It sounds to me as if possibly ya Main IC Amp Chip & OR the Output Capacitors are failing... Sometimes it is a sign of a power supply on it's way out... Either way it's time for a repair shop quote. Either that or it may be the speakers crossovers... to check this, if you can, try another set of speaker... see if problem is still there. If it IS, then it IS most probably as I said above.. If NOT then it may be one or both of the "Crossover Network" in each speaker...
