Question about Amana RanARG7302 Gas Kitchen Range
I have an Amana Model ARGS7650E. The top burners and the broiler all work fine. The oven igniter comes on and heats up, but the gas doesn't come on. Even when holding a cigarette lighter to the burner, it doesn't light.
No matter that the igniter glows you must measure the current... If the current is less than 3.2 or 3.6 you must change it (this current is for the igniters with rectangular white base). The current to open the valve is the same that passed through the igniter so if it doesn't reach the proper value it will never open (or sometimes open sometimes not).Mine is not opening and the current is 2.9 so I'm going to replace it tomorrow.

I was going to guess the gas control and the second persons comment only confirms it for me, but you guys are the ones spending the money on the parts. It is only my best guess.

SOURCE: Trouble with an Amana oven
sounds like a bad valve that needs to be replaced. If that doesn't fix it let me know but 90% of the time this is the problem and the fix.
good luck and let me know if you have any other questions with this
