Question about Carrier Heating & Cooling
When i manually turn thermostat to a/c..carrier outside starts up but no air of any kind comes thru vent; after about 3-5 minutes, unit shuts off..does it matter if my thermo is set to fan or auto..do i have major problems?..no sign of icing because i haven't used ac in about a week..
If you turn on just the fan at thermostat does it run.
if not then the fan motor / belt / relay / start capacitor is the issue.
if your not familiar with ac then you will need help to diagnose the air handler.
belt is easy.
just take a look by opening the side access panel
