Hello,

you need to get the phone fully dried for it to work well again.

Remove the battery and clean it very well. After that, get a phone screw driver, unscrew all the phone screws, remove the phone cover in order to gain access to the phone panel. Gently remove/detach the screen from the phone board.

Get a methylated spirit and a soft tooth brush, dip the tooth brush into the spirit and use the brush to clean the phone board. Wash/brush every part of the board with the spirit.

After that, dry the board under an electric bulb or under sunlight. Allow it to dry very well. Let the board get hot. Then leave the board for 5mins or more to cool.

After that, couple back the phone, fix in the battery and try again. Then phone will definitely power on.

Take care.

Water damage on the ds lite

Hi,

Yes, this is a common problem with water damaged systems. I recommend you send it for repair, to anyone who will repair it under water damage.

If you don't have the money to do so, you can open it up and clean it out with rubbing alcohol and a firm brush and dry it .

Clean off EVERY SIGN of Water Damage you see.

Goodluck, I hope this helps.

My daughters LG KS360phone has stopped working - the dealer (optus) say they won't accept it for warranty repairs unless I pay them $50 in case its water damaged - does anyone know how to check for water...

Hi,

The most basic way to check for water damage is to open the back cover and take the battery out. Either on the battery itself or on the phone under the battery there should be a white square or circle. This is called the LDI (liquid damage indicator), if this is still white then there is no water damage. But if this is red or pink there is water damage.

Hope this helps,
Joe

Water damage. never been near water. we are told it was in cold weather and the condensation caused water to get inside.

Unfortunately water damage is usually permanent because it results in a short circuit which often fries the boards. However, if your electronics device made contact with water while OFF, fear not. It should still work provided that you wait until the innards are dry and the water evaporated. The water build up probably came from water condensation. If it hasn't fried, dry it out REALLY well and hope that it hasn't already been damaged. If you already turned it on without luck, then it looks like you have a broken iPhone on your hands. Sorry.

How to flush the engine coolant in a Fiat Sciento?

You need water and antfreeze half and half 50/50 mixture. If damage to the raditor,it will leak outside. If damage to the engine it will leak either outside or inside into the oil,and the engine is usually badly damaged. I hope you replaced the water with the antfreeze in time.

Iphone water damage

I tried everything to get my iphone to work after a small incident with a toilet bowl. I used rice, silica packs, blow dryer, towels in the sun, etc. My brother-in-law told me about the ifixyouri website he used for his broken screen. I called them up and they walked me through the website and I over night fedex shipped it to them. I really wanted my iphone to work again, because like an idiot I never backed it up in iTunes. Well, I just received it back in the mail and................IT WORKS!!!!!! So, I am recommending them to everyone. I am soooooo happy. Good luck!!!! The site is www.ifixyouri.com
