I can't get pictures uploaded for my kodak easyshare C813. I don't use an sd card, i just use the internal memory. Recently, i uninstalled the software (for some or another reason) and was just using windows to put the pictures on my computer. I reinstalled the software, and now neither the software nor the computer are reading the camera when i plug it into the usb port. The camera goes dark, but the computer doesn't detect the camera.

When you plug-in the camera into the USB port, what is the message?
Do you see any pop-up on the lower right hand side of the screen?

Usually the pop-up is "Device is ready to use" or USB device unrecognized if the USB is not recognized
try the camera to other USB port

I've tried other usb ports, it doesn't pop up at all. I also tried using the easyshare software to synchronize and upload that way and it says that there isn't a supported device connected to the computer.

Internal memory is full

Usually, cameras come with a certain amount of internal memory before it fills up.In this case, your camera has about 10 pictures worth of memory before it is full (see picture).
You can get more space by purchasing an SD memory card from any office supply or electronics store.
You can also upload your pictures to your computer with your USB cable, then deleting the photos one the camera. The instructions on how to do this are in your manual.(If you don't have the manual at hand, there is a link here, see page 18)
How many pictures one SD card will show is shown in this chart:

I CAN'T UPLOAD PICTURES IN MY C813 CAMERA'S INTERNAL MEMORY TO MY COMPUTER

Hi

I am not sure the Kodak EasyShare C813 can transfer files straight from the internal memory. Many cameras need you to copy the images on the internal memory to a memory card and then you can transfer them over.

On the Kodak you can copy (not move) them to a memory card by following the instructions below:

Copy pictures/videos:

1 Press the Review button, then the Menu button.

2 Press ^ v to highlight Copy, then press OK.

3 Press ^ v to highlight an option.

4 Press OK.

Hope that helps

David

Anyone help me with this one. I have a Kodak Easyshare C813. I have cleared the memory card and the internal memory recently and since taken only 7 pictures. However now I am getting the message that...

If you just deleted the pics from the internal memory, it may still give the full message. Try formatting it while your card is out of the camera.

My kodak easyshare C813 is telling me that internal memoryis full. What do I do!

You have to upload your images from your camera to your computer and save and delete the pictures on your camera.
You can buy SD memory card which can store lot more images than the internal memory.
If you will be using the SD card, you have to select from the menu that you want the camera to write images on the external memory instead of the internal memory.
You can upload images on the camera to your computer through USB cable. The cable is cheap if you buy from eBay especially ones that are being sold from Hong Kong.
USB cable from Hong Kong worked well on my Kodak.

How to get my internal memory on my kodak easyshare

in this case you probably see the picture on the camera , but you can not download them ..
a way to do it ,,is to remove the card from it ..and connect it using the driver to the computer and see if the computer see the camera and show it into my computer folder...if does there you will find the pictures..
Another way is install the driver ..get the card out ..and use the windows movie maker to import them into the program ..it has import from device feature ..and after that just copy them from there ..and save into computer ... or do the same thing but install a photo manager with a feature for import from device ..like ACDsee 9 or so ...this will do for sure ..just click import from-device ...locate the device in the menu twain ....and select pictures and go for i t..
Another one is to empty space on the card ...and than g to view pictures mode..select the pictures one by one ..and from options ..(where you can even delete them ) choose to move to card..
Or ..in the main menu ..look for storage ..choose the internal memory ..than option to move picture on the card (move all at once ) ..

Cant upload the pitures from sd card with out usb cord

Yes you cannot transfer pictures without the USB cable since that is working like the 'bridge' for your camera and computer communication.

However, there is still another way on how you can get the pictures. That is to use a memory card reader. Most laptops now has that particular slot. Or you can buy a cheap memory card on the nearest PC store.

How many pictures can the Kodak EasyShare SV811 hold at one time? I tried uploading around 30 picutres from my computer to my digital picture frame and only 17 of them uploaded. Did I try uploading too...

SV811 doesn't have a large enough internal memory thats why the picture capacity depends on the inserted SD card or if you transferre pics directly from the computer to display simultanously.

The frame should display as many as on the SD card.

I can't seem to upload my pictures from my camera to my computer. I've tried downloading software to just plain waiting. Please help I really want my pictures on my computer

If you are using a memory card to store images on your camera, you can get an external usb card reader to download your images. Attach the reader to your computer, insert the sd memory card, and copy the images to your hard drive. If you are using the built in memory, try going here to find a software download: http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn034495.jhtml?pq-path=11888#
