Error message "paper jam"

I've tried to print from paper, excel, docs, etc... but i keep getting paper jam error. I have looked through the printer and cannot locate and paper that is jammed. I've tried making copies but that isnt working either. I have already unplugged and plugged in the printer.

What can i do to fix this?

same problem here, but we found the paper jammed in the back roller, inside the fuser cover. However, I cannot access the paper, as it's all scrunched against this roller (your paper could be here as well). I'm searching for a way to release this roller from the fuser unit and NEED some help, as this is our only printer/fax machine!

PLEASE help us out - Thanks,
    Robert

Error 241.1 Paper Jam. I have reseated the tray

Brand New T652n lexmark printer get a paper jam every time! just opened and haven't been able to print one paper. Doesn't matter if you print from tray one or tray two. It gets stuck right after the rollers pick it up and try to send it to the toner. Any suggestions? I've tried to reseat the toner, plain paper, sized the paper correctly, I've tried just about everything I can think of! I can feed paper manually through the top tray, and it will print. But, just using the manual tray defeats the purpose of the other two trays. Anyone else having this issue?

Error code 6A00 what is it how do you fix it? this is what is displayed on the printer. I had a paperjam last night. I removed the paper and it worked ok. This morning it displayed this error message and...

6A00 is AP position error.
First, make sure there is no paper jam anywhere in the machine.. look inside, rear, where the paper tray (output) is, etc to see if you find any shreds or torn paper that may have gotten stuck and you didn't see.Look carefully in the zone of Purge unit, using flashlight in the right side on printer. If this not help your printer need service.

Error message paper empty free service

Hi,

Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry. Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print. Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job. Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Paper Jam message on every print job.

I have the same printer without the doc feeder. Check the paper trail thru the printer for the paper sensor lever hanging up. It gets pushed up by the paper and can stick, making the printer think it still has paper in it. Pulling the cart unsticks it till you print again.

Real Basic Question

Unfortunately, that top light isn't very helpful as it's an indicator for several problems (IE: Front door open, out of paper, incorrect/improperly installed print cartridge, etc.), so really, the only things you can do since you've already eliminated the 'out of paper' scheme is make sure the front door's 'button pusher' is still attached and pressing the internal button in the printer, and re-seating the print cartridge. All the help I can offer, I'm afraid.
