Retreiving deleted phone messages

I am sorry. Your answering machine has about 14 minutes recording time. Space is limited. After you delete a message to make room and new messages are recorded, so old messages are pretty much shredded and un-retrievable.
But even if the message memory has not been totally rewritten, I believe deleted message are lost for ever. That is what I read on the manual for a GE or Panasonic phone user manual.

I hope I am wrong.

I have a LG Vantage, how do I delete all texts out of my sent folder at once? Ditto with my inbox?

This is pretty simple. Go to the first menu on the left (from the home screen), tap on 'Messaging', then 'Text Message', then 'Inbox' or 'Sent' (whichever you want), tap on the little white icon with 3 white lines near the bottom right hand side of the screen. Next, scroll down to the bottom of the list that pops up. There will be an selection called '6 Delete Multiple'. Click on that. You can then choose which message(s) you would like to delete. From what you have asked, you seem to want to delete them all at once. To do this, tap the little box on the left of the the Title 'Sent' (this will highlight them all). Finally tap delete, confirm and YOU'RE DONE!

Can you retreive voice message that have been deleted

No once you delete a voice message it is completely gone unless you recorded it before you deleted it.

I have never come across any recovery methods after its been deleted.

Help needed to retreive a deleted message

Unfortunately, no. Once you've deleted the message it's gone from the digital storage. Not the solution you wanted, I know, but that's how they make these things. (I've done it too. Suxx, doesn't it?)

Cant retreive messages from phone

Hi, I also have this phone and had the same problem!! You press the "clear/mute" button once so it shows "tad on", then press the number 2 on the key pad. If you want to delete the messages after you have listened to them, press 0. Hope this helps...If you need any more info, feel free to e-mail me at mad.cow@tesco.net. Regards, Julie

"New Voice Mail" stuck on screen.

Called GE. Here's what's happening (at least with my phone). I use VONAGE as a carrier. VONAGE's package includes voicemail. I have my VONAGE voicemail account set up to take any call that comes in if the answering machine on my GE phone does not pick up -- for instance if I'm on the phone and I do not "flash" over to the incoming call, that caller will eventually be sent to my VONAGE voicemail where they can leave a message. (Otherwise I would either take the call, or, if not already in use, the GE phone/answering system1.gif would simpy take the message.) This GE phone is commucating with my VONAGE account and letting me know that I have a mesage in my VONAGE account voicemail. All I have to do is either go online and delete the messages (after listening to them of course) and refresh the page. Once the messsages are deleted, the carrier lets my phone know the messages are gone and the NEW VOICE MAIL prompt on the handset disappears. I suppose I can do it by listening to the messages by calling in and deleting through the touch pad on the phone as well.
