It depends on whether you are using computer or tablets. Several ways - may be able to right click on computer and click on delete. May be able to highlight and drag to the
trashcan icon. Some programs may have trash an icons across the top of the screen. You can highlight several emails at once and delete. Hope this helps.
if you have a lot from 1 site then RIGHT click on one of them and go down to "all from this sender" then delete ( that will clear all from that 1 sender ) ..right up the top of the list of emails is a box to tick which ticks every email on that page, once there all ticked scroll down and untick the ones you want to keep. you can right click in the email box and "make a new folder" once the folder is made you can name it "old emails" now when you right click you will have the option to "move to old emails" this keeps your inbox clean. ( so if you have loads from 1 sender you want to keep then RIGHT click on one of there emails go down to "from this sender" and move to "old emails" box that youve just made. ( look down the left and youll see inbox etc and old emails down that list ) but there is no option to keep a few and delete the rest unless you tick the emails.
Once you create an apple I.D. using your email address, it becomes your "user name" no matter what email addresses you use for your mail. You don't need that exact email address anymore once you've created an account, but can change your profile information once you log into your account. Add a new email address, credit card, etc... Don't create several accounts as your library of songs, photos, movies, videos won't synch with your other devices. If you don't want to have an Apple I.D. at all, you really can't delete it but you can follow these instructions to help. How to Delete an Apple ID
Look for either the word "delete" or a symbol (usually a garbage can or a big "X") in the menu at the top of the page. Select the email you want to get rid of and click on the word or symbol. Most email providers let you select many emails at once for deletion. A few ever allow you to empty a mailbox completely with one click. If so, the process will be similar to deleting one email.
Check you settings for your email account itself. Most likely you have selected this feature. I did it once before with yahoo and had to change it through them and not my email service on my phone.
There are a few things that could cause this.
One, you might have a lot of old unread emails in your account that you have never opened or deleted.
If that's not the case, I would recommend deleting your email account of your phone and re-adding it.
You can log into apple (google "manage apple id") site to manage your apple ID. This would mean you need to know your password of your old email address. Once in, you can add new email address. Once new email address is verified, you can remove the old address.
Disposing of old messages will make it easier to locate the
e-mail you do want.
It also frees up space on your hard disk.
These instructions should work for most e-mail programs.
Place a tick in the box next to the first email you want to
delete holding the Down shift key scroll down to the last email you want to
delete and place a tick in the box next to that email every box in between will
be selected then click delete all emails will be deleted.
When first turned on, select "messages." then down arrow to inbox or outbox. Select choice. For outbox, down arrow to SENT. Select. Hit the center button. scroll down twice to delete the one message. Scroll down once more to delete ALL messages from the sent outbox. Confirm and out they go!
Now, does anybody know how to email text messages so they can be saved?
