The led light will stay on, showing that it is working and connectd... To make sure what you have save to it. Open it up in my computer and see what is on there.
Hope this helps

Flashing LED light but not working

Unfortuntly, this caused the drives power source to be exceded and damage the drive or circut board. If you know someone that knows computer well, have them or yourself take the hard drive out and manually connect the driver to a computer and extract your data, if the drive is not damage that is, there is know way to know for sure until you try to connect to a PC directly. Or, purchas another USB external housing.

Note that I had only put 1GB of data on the drive. I expect that the resynchronization time is not proportionnal to the amount of data on the disk!

In order to delete your privacy zone, you have to get the application once more. To get the software click here http://verbatim.com/support/support.cfm?open=Downloads ...ok so you will have to format your flash drive with the application, removing the privacy zone if you want, this will obiously DELETE ALL DATA ON THE DRIVE after the format has completed, you can then remove the application from you flash drive, if you still remember the privacy zone password, then all you have to do is just type it and you have acess to the privacy zone... anyone who needs assistance can contact me to semirandomjr@yahoo.com if you are confused, email me and i can also try to clear it up for you. Usb flash drive will not install

Try applying a small amount of pressure to the drive(up or down). The contacts might not be making a good connection. Have you updated the drivers for your pci to usb connections? Have you rebooted the machine with the dirve in the USB slot? Let me know what happens Tim

SanDisk 1GB Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive - device not recognised

I've had this same problem with a number of Cruzer Titaniums. In my case, it seemed to have been due to data corruption. There seems to a section of the flash that is dedicated not to storage but to helping the computer recognize the device. Once this gets trashed, I don't know of a way that the end user can fix the problem. What a waste, because in all other aspects the device is probably still ok. Kind of like a PC with a corrupted BIOS image.
