Water leaking on floor after every wash

Hi, I have a Kenmore 43042 front load washer, bought in Sept of 03. It has been a great machine until last week. It now is leaking after every load. Mostly on the right side underneath, but then spreading further under. I suspect it may not be completely level, due to being moved a few times over the last several months, but not sure. Help, please!!!! We have two kids and live on a farm......gotta have a washer, but can't afford a new one. My husband will try to fix it if he can (with your help). Thank you for any help you can offer us. Sincerely, Barbara I have had our Kenmore front-loading washer model # 417.40042990 for about 8 years give or take. Never had a problem with it until we moved in September. As soon as we moved to the new house and I went to do the laundry, it has been leaking from underneath ever since. I have to lay towels around the base for each load - they get soaked - and do not want to call a repair guy because I'm sure just the labor alone will be horrendous. I have 3 kids, 2 of which are in daycare so I really cannot afford a hefty bill or a new washer. I've asked my husband to take off the panel before. He says he took it off but where he needs to see is behind the drum or something and everything is hooked all together and he refuses to take anything else off to try to see where the problem is coming from. He's afraid he'll break something or make it worse or not be able to get it back together properly. He's not the most handy guy with things like this. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
