2 conifirs have been planted from containers 6 months ago. They are 7ft tall in a bit of a shetered spot. Some of the middle branches have turned brown and are dead. Growth at the top and other areas looks OK with about 6inches of growth since planting. I have watered with 2 gallons each plant when there is a dry spell. They are under very tall pine trees. Many thanks, Geoffrey

Hi,
When transplanting you will often have at least some temporary damage....
In your case being that there is new growth to the trees the damage is only marginal and temporary...
Continue in the path you are on and give them some food (fertilizer) for the cooler months ahead...
Come spring they will be in good shape and take off again...

I planted a blood orange tree 2 years ago it doesnt seem to be growing right. It got tall in the middle but its not branching off or gettin wide at all.

Trees can get very tall it depends on the type, didnt you keep any instructions? May even need to prune the top leaves so it spreads out.

Can I grow an azalea from a cutting?

Absolutely !!! The easiest way is to take one of the lire branches one that is long I scrape the main bark them lay on the ground cover with mulch and place a rock over the spot where you scraped the bark and buried the limb Leave it be it will take some time but you will notice it putting out new growth Unearth the cutting and check for root growth if you have roots then cut from the mother plant and plant

I replaced the main lamp 6 months ago. Now I have blue on the right, yellow in the middle and normal color on the left. I also have a ghost image of tree branches on the whole screen.

Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. Here's how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together. When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixilation even vertical lines. You will need to replace the light engine. Found it here:http://www.discount-merchant.com/SONY-1-758-484-22-p/1180916.htm Have a blessed one!

Light green and pink spots on my hd tv!!!

Tiny particles of dust on the light engine lens can cause this (and was a service call for me about a month ago), or possibly the expensive light engine.
