How can I use my iPod to watch on TV?

iPods are one of the most popular MP3 player. However, in addition to playing MP3s on your iPod, too many iPods play videos, but also on their own screen, allowing you to things like movies, music videos or cartoons to watch. Finally, an additional feature of the iPod is the ability to connect to a TV for watching videos without having to squint to see them in a tiny iPod screen.

1. Connect the end of the 3.5 mm AV Cable for iPod Earphone iPod.

2. Connect the RCA at the other end of the ports on the back of your TV.

3. Touch users go to the Settings section on your iPod, and tap "Video Settings" and select "TV On". IPhone and iPod can find the video settings by clicking the Settings application on the home screen.

4. I cant get a tv show on my ipod nano 4th gen

Not all iTunes video can be transferred to iPod, please make sure your video is compatible with iPod. If the video resolution or video bitrate beyond iPod limitation, even though they are mp4 video, you can't upload them to iPod. For example, some iTunes purchased movie are High definition movie, the resolution is too high to play on iPod, you can't sync it to your iPod. For more information about iPod compatible video, you can visit apple official website.

Ipod vido out

Using the iPod AV Cable
Step 11Use the Apple iPod AV cable. This plugs into the RCA ports on your TV or VCR. This is by far the easiest method. Step 22Connect the AV cable into your iPod. Plug the small end into the iPod where the earbuds would go. Step 33Connect the red RCA plug. This goes into the right audio input of the television or VCR. The colors should match. Step 44Connect the white RCA plug. This plugs into the left audio input of your TV. Connect the yellow RCA plug. This goes into the video input of your TV. Step 55Begin playing a video on the iPod.

Ipod Video

This will never work, the new ipods will only work with apple products. I've had numerous headaches with this and after many phonecalls to manufacturers I discovered that the new ipods will only play video if they see an apple authentication chip embedded inside the video cable. Sorry.
