Toshiba sattelite A135-S2246

Hello all,
my laptop does not pass by the toshiba screen during the boot up,
do you know if this is a hardware issue?

Hard Drive Issues most likely, Try booting to your Bios Setup utility Page...
Hold the f2 key (or delete key)(some are also f12)Check to see if your HD shows up in there, then reboot and hold the F8 key to try and get to the SAFE MODE options screen... there ya can boot it into safe mode if able to get to it..

If you don't know the password to the BIOS - you're screwed. There's absolutely no way to recover it back. You may take it to a computer repair shop or Toshiba Repair place and let them reset the BIOS Password.

Blue screen bios password gives you 3 attempts and then shuts down. anyone know the bios password for a a135-s2246


remove keyboard remove wireless card u will see a jumper keep short jumper and turn on laptop wait 1 min password will remove.. thanks

My toshiba a135 s2246 need bios password to open the bios


To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

Blue screen with windows xp can't boot from cd


Most toshiba will boot if you press F12 and a boot screen will appear . the bios is most of the time acessed through F1 or F2 try that and let me know what happens

Asking for a password without one set


remove the bios battery and start computer. Switch off and replace battery. The password prompt should dissapear after doing the above. Hope this helps.

Boot up problems.


sometimes new RAM and old RAM develop some kind of compatibility issue due to slight variations in them.... it is something like the system gets accustomed to what it was before and refuse to adapt properly to change...

please take some experts advice....
