Headphone Socket Part of my headphone adaptor has broken off inside the phone. Anyone know if its possible to open the phone up to get it out before I try & force it open & inevitably break it? Cheers...

You could always just put a little bit of super glue on the end of a paper clip and carefully poke the broken piece until it sticks, then pull it out. Tah-Dah!!!

Samsung GT-S3370B where do I plug the headphones in?

Older phones sometimes have a different voltage for their headphone jack and need an adaptor or a particular kind of headphones. You need one of these.

Htc only plays music to one ear

Check that you don't have pocket lint etc stuck inside the audio socket. Turn off the phone and use a paper clip to see if you can hook anything out. If you can't push the plug all the way in, it can cause the problem you describe. Otherwise take a look at http://www.urheadphones.net/ReplaceEarBuds

My nokia 5230 phones speakers not functioning . no sound is comming out.what could be the problem.plzz help .coz not even the ringtone can be heard!!!!!!!

If you have confirmed thaat the internal speaker is faulty by using a handfree headphone to work well then it mustt be opened to check and replace the speakers. If however there is no sound to the headphone then the mother board is faulty.
In most cases it can be also related to poor soldering joints in the headphone socket or the board to the speaker.

I have use nokia 2310 model but one of the problem is headphone socket he is not connect to headphone switch so pls sir give me information my E-mail id shreeramkharat@gmail.com

Check the headphone on another phone to confirm if this is working correctly. If not you need to check the pins or the wires for fault or replace the headphone.
Since your question is not clear , it is hard to understand what you meant. Also if the phone does not work with a confirmed working headphone then it is possible that the socket is faulty.

Audio output stuck in earphone mode after headphones disconnected

The most likely cause is a broken headphone socket. The only fix is to take the phone to a repair shop to have the socket replaced. If the phone is still under warranty then contact either the manufacturer or supplier for a free repair.

No sound without headphones

i had the same prob. just try blowing into the headphone jack or unplugging and plugging back in the headphones into the headphone jack a couple of times. there must be some sort of problem with the headphone jack that makes the phone think that the headphones are still in or something.

based on my experienced there is an external connector, which you can connect the external headphone, possible cause # (1) clean the external terminal inside the board, remove all dust, dirt, or water drained in this area which is "corroded".goodluck!

Sony k800i mobile phone cannot hear callers

Have found a possible solution. Check this guide for disassembly: http://www.formymobile.co.uk/Dismantle/k800disassembly.htm
Once you have the front of the phone and the insides apart you will notice that the headphone is fixed in the front plastics and has two flexible contacts. These touch two metal pads on the phone insides. I found that my contacts were slightly off-centre, and this was enough to mean the headphone was not working when calls were made (speakerphone ok, as others mentioned). Once I had carefully straightened the contacts (rather delicate metal so take care), and then reassembled,my headphone was back to normal. Good luck!
