I have a Ricoh GX7000 Gel printer. I have diagnosed that the main board is faulty. How can I get a replacement circuit board for my printer... anyone with any useful info?

I have error 997

CHECK THE INK CARRIAGE IS MOVING ACROSS TO HOME POSITION. THIS CAN BE CAUSED BY THE INK CLEANING PROCESS NOT LOWERING THE LOWER TANK PROPERLY. IF YOU REMOVE THE RIGHT HAND COVER YOU WILL SEE THE CLEANING UNIT. THERE IS A WHITE SHAFT WITH A CROSS HEAD SLOT YOU CAN TURN TO LOWER IT AND THEN REBOOT THE PRINTER WITH LUCK IT WILL GET RID OF THE CODE. HOPE THIS HELPS. ANDY When the carriage moved to the right, the carriage did not stop at the HP. Or, the carriage scan check failed. • Horizontal encoder sensor loose, broken, or defective.
• Horizontal encoder film broken, disconnected, or installed upside down.
• HRB defective

I am getting ink spots on the images printed from a Ricoh Afficio GX7000. Spots are in 2 lines on the same place in each picture

This signal is triggered by the HVPS due to an accumulation of
condensation or ink spillage onto the transport belt.
?? Clean the transport belt.

I have a ricoh gx 7000 used for sublimation. Everytime I turn it on, I get a "paper misfeed" message. HELP!!

Dear .

Paper miss feed error indicates to :

1- Piece of paper inside duplexer unit check out from the back side..

2- magnetic strip (encoding tape on the top of linear steel bar) is dirty or it has some ink spots

use alcohol & cotton pass along the strip from the 2 side.

Note turn your machine off and un-plug the power

To clean behinde the head area you should first turn the machine on, when the head move to the left side unplug the power cable

Ricoh Gx7000 inkjet A3 Printer - what does 'error 990' mean?

Error 990 indicates a dirty sensor, so either a maintenance unit is dirty or you have a clogged print head. You can read more about this error on Richo website where you can see in the images what you need to clean.

I just purchased the Ricoh GX7000 for sublimation. Unfortunately, my son set up the printer and did not realize the inks that come with it are not to be installed. He did. I have not printed anything, but...

I would call your vendor. Or if you bought the sawgrass technologies ink, give tech support a call and have them help you download the necessary ICC profile for your printer. Often they can walk you through setup. You will need to delete the current one you son installed.

Unfort don't have a solution but curious as to the ink you were using. Were you using OEM inks or dye sublimation ink from like Sawgrass ?

If it's the entire board I don't really know. You might be better off getting a new printer If it's a chip you might try here...Good luck

I'd be interested in how you isolated the problem to the mainboard?

I have a Ricoh GX7000 and when I press the On/Off button, the LED illuminates for about a second and then goes off. There is nothing displayed on the LCD.

Any ideas where I could start diagnostics?
