Might be a faulty powersupply. try replacing your powersupply and see it works.

I dont know wut it can be it takes like 2sec to 3sec to crank before it turns on

that is not bad for a 1997 it could be a sign of the battery or your stater getting old but i think your are ok 2,3 second .

My Panasonic TCP54G25 will not turn on. Red LED begins to blink ~3sec indefinitely.

The Y-sustain board should be suspected.

pls check the RAM i think it is a RAM malfunction it has nothing to do with lcd if ur system does not bootup and u dont see any hard disk activity as loading OS files while the screen is OFF black then try changing RAM , or if u have 2 chips of RAM try one at a time in one slot that is the upper most or get another one to try with same specs

aslo try connecting the monitor out this will trouble shoot ur LCD screen and vga

Cant on my coby MPC-7085

first just charge it before you go to sleep and dwhen you wake up the next day check....dont ever reset it because all the settings reset also which means the light on the keypad may not work to make light on the keypad...turn it on...scroll down to it and scrol down to display,,,click that then click backlight and put how many seconds you want it to stay on...mine is 11 sec.(the thing is from 3sec-11sec.)
