Question about Canon MultiPASS MP390 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Mp390 on startup cartride jammed clicking

Sorry.. I posted this in Unsolved when i should have posted it here. I've had this Canon MP390 for about three years for my personal use at home. Hardly ever used the fax, but the scanner, printer, & copier got some use. I love this machine, but the other day i turned it on and i heard clicking that last about 20/30 seconds. Am i correct in thinking i should trash it. All my reading points to a faulty solenoid, that sits in almost center of the body. Has anyone ever fixed one before, & is it worth doing?

Don't know how to put new ink catrige in my Canon MP390

This solution was already posted by solofixya, Nov 2008
With the machine powered on. Just lift up the entire top portion on the platen unit, lower the front verticle cover and the printhead should come to the correct position to change out the ink tanks, just tilt tanks towards the front of the unit and lift out.
