Problem with o2 atom

1= pda freezes at least 10 times per day
2= some mornings after being on charge over night the pda will not turn on.After many attempts i try a soft reset and still no go i then try a hard reset and still no go.I try this 4-5 times and then it may turn on.
3= during the day i may receive a call and as soon as i press to answer, the screen slowly starts to turn white.I would have to reset again.
4= Sometimes while i am talking with somebody the pda will just turn off.

I have noticed that when the pda has frozen and it is in the pouch for a period of time the back of the pda is extremely warm. When i finally turn it back on the battery has reduced from about 90% to about 40%.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem, or do i just throw the dam thing against a brick wall??????
