Tascam dp-01fx I can't seem to find a site where I can download a service manual for this item. Records OK left input, and shows input signal is fine on LCD screen, Right signal however, is showing input but is not being amplified in the headphone output or the main output....very crackly and just audible. SOunds like the output (IC or Transistor) but I need to know where they are on the board. Can you help

Problem solved!! 1 mic and 1 guitar into each input, and make sure you've selected the correct input on MULTI A or B switch...remember set up A first sy on the left input, then set up B on the right input. Obviously, you can only do them 1 at a time.

As regards to your error message (50) it is a possibility that you have to create a new song first then save it at which point you will nam it. The recording has to be longer than 4 seconds though to make a title!!.

Does this help both of you

When I try to put a song title in before recording a message pops up that says "system error 50" please restart system.
I can't get that message to go away, thus I cannot record. what do I do?

Proba otro microfono con otro cable o un guitara con un cable nuevo. si no trabaja, entonces lleva al tu tienda donde la compre.

If anyone can help me out, please do!

Alternatively you could load your stereo instrumental track into a wav editor, then export each stereo track as a separate mono wav file which you can transfer via usb into you DP-01 and then on you DP-01 import those wav files into two separate tracks which you can pan hard left and hard right so they are in stereo.
