if you have the original CD key, you can install it then when activation comes up, choose to call to activate...when you finish putting in the numbers to MicroSoft, it will ask how many computers this copy has been installed on, just answer one and you will receive the NEW activation numbers to put in the fields.

We have an att.net account and the page was green. Somehow we can't get our homepage to come up . It goes to yaoo.com but that is not whaat we want. Can you help

AT&T is in partnership with yahoo so that's why you're getting a yahoo page. But if there's another site that you used to have as a homepage, just go to the address of the website that you want (say, for exampl, http://www.att.com/accounts/) then set it as your homepage:

For internet explorer, go to tools, then internet options, then click on use current, then click on apply and ok.

For mozilla firefox, go to tools, options, general tab, click on use current pages, then click on okay.

Let me know if you're using any other browser.

Need product key to activate some programs and cant find key on computer

The key arent in your computer, the key always comes with the program and its either on the manual or on the cd-box.
And if it is a program you downloaded from the net, then you have to contact the manufacture and buy a key.
If you alredy bought a key but lost it, contact the manufacture for a new key

Good luck to you

Keyboard buttons

Hi Grumpy Gran
Great name by the way. Are they listed top to bottom ` a two headed arrow, caps lock, an up arrow and ctrl?
These are not particular active keys. If you have used a typewriter the two headed arrow is the tab key, use it to jump a given number of spaces to the right.
The caps lock will set your keyboard in capitals mode. The uparrow is the shift key which temporarily puts it into capitals or vice-versa. The ctrl key is a special key which is not used in normal typing. You may not need it in normal use.
Good luck with your surfing.
ps its not a good idea to unplug your keyboard whilst the computer is still on. You should connect it when the computer is off so that it is detected when the computer starts.
