My HP mini has no sound when I play DVD from an external multiformat DVD/CD writer. Everything else seems to work fine, I can even see the picture. I alco installed thr software that it comes with.

You will need Nero burning software. It will after the normal burn show you a screen where you place the image you want to burn for lightscribe. Another failing with lightscribe is that you must have lightscribe discs!

Burn whatever you want,, so long as the disc are labeled as Rewritable (RW on the disc) To make it easy use Nero express or google"free Burners"
Windows also heas a free burner.

Hi,

you should be able to boot from this device, on 2 conditions.
1:- the device is set to boot first, in the System Bios. Setup.
2:- The disk inserted, is a Bootable CD/DVD.
