Question about HP Photosmart 945 Digital Camera
There's a noise comming from the lens, it's a clicking sound like it wants to come out.
Looks like the large lens cannot get it's lense out with the electric drive. This is operated by a little motor with gears. The clicking sound is from gear-teeth. Your guide shaft (3 of them) may be blocked by sand or dust or broken guide-pins.
Once the large lens is fully out. The small internal lens will be moved in and out for zoom. I have recently fully dissassembled my broken HP945 which was fallen on its lens in extracted mode (under charge from docking station). If you want pictures how it looks inside, let me know. firstname.lastname@example.org
