Question about Archos 104 MP3 Player
I've added many audio books to my Archos. On two occasions, I've gotten a strange distortion, almost as if the data is partially scrambled. There are metallic chirps and squeaks. In one audio book, the playback was undecipherable. In the other, I could understand it, but the distortion would persist on couple of words. The mp3s in question both play clearly and without problem on my pc with Windows Media Player. I've deleted and reloaded the files onto the Archos repeatedly with no relief. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have you tried to add those files to WMP? In the directory theres an option 'add to library', then you have to select the folder where the movie is in. also Archos cant read DVD extensions, I always convert them to AVI MPEG4, but WMV has to do it well too. I never use that option, because I prefer manually copy past instead of sync. WMP has to convert automatically to WMV when synchronising.
Hope this will work! ;)

This is an issue with the Windows Media Player Sync feature not the Archos device. Check out the help section in WMP to fix your problem.
