HP PAVILION DV2000 will not boot up. When i press the power button all lights come on but laptop will not boot up.
the laptop dont boot up, i did all you said and plus i disconnect the CMOS for a couple of minutes it boot up once i suth it down a try to boot it up and didnt work. what i can do? Just purchased the Acer Aspire 6920 yesterday. Same problem. Hit the power button and all the lights come on, but it doesn't boot. The display doesn't even come on!! Taking this piece of **** back to Circuit City tomorrow!!!

go for the bootable cd and after install new o/s in the laptops
