Question about Texas Instruments BA-II Plus Calculator

# Changing batteries and life span

Hi Mate,

I have been use my texas BA 11 plus calculator since 2005. I am gona write CFA this week.What is the life span of the battery? Also, do i need to change/renew with fresh batteries. Which batteries do they use..give me the details.im in Mauritius and will need to find them..pls kindly update me urgently.

It's written in the back of the calculator, mate ! A TI BA ii Plus uses a CR2032 battery, which is 3V, 60 micro A.
Just go to the shop and give them the battery model.

The y^x key is just above the 9 key. The 1/x key is just above that.

I do not know of any bassII calculator, but if the manual and quick reference guide of the BA-II Plus will do, then follow the link .
As to the battery door, you can purchase it from the TI Online store.

Hit FIX and then the number of decimal places you want displayed.

I also think that FIX 9 - is the default and will display the greatest number of places used
