I have a similar same problem. It may play one song or work for an hour, then it completely goes black. It won't even turn off when I hold the power button up. I have to let it sit for a day or two until the battery is dead. Only then will it power up at all, and that's just to show the dead battery symbol. I charge it up, and the cycle begins again.

I can't seem to download videos into my mp3.

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night, whatever time you are viewing this. You are having trouble downloading videos onto your MP3 Player? Well there is a reason for and you probably won't like this... There is no way you can play videos on this MP3 Player. Sansa Clip doesn't support video files, only music files and audio podcasts. Sorry about this, but FixYa encourages you to come visit the website again soon. Again sorry, but I hope you have a good day, evening or night, whatever time you are viewing this solution post.

I have a Sansa Miniclip that is about two and a half years old. When I try switching it on, the Sandisk logo appears and flashes for 1 or 2 minutes before the screen shuts down and the wheel flashes a few...

Sounds like it's time for a new mp3 player, fortunately you can get Sansas like this one fairly cheap if you buy them used online.

What operating system are you using?

I also just bought a sansa view of amazon. its a refurbed 8gb. it was working fine and for some reason after i turned it off and tried to turn it back on, it wouldnt, not even when i plugged it into my computer. all i did was hold the side button (hold/power) up and at the same time pressed and held the home and "select"(middle button) and it turned on! i hope this helps!

New Sansa View Scroll wheel won't work

If it's brand new and you bought it at a store, exchange it. If it's an online store and not refurbished you should probably call Sansa as it will be in warranty. If it's refurbished (has a silver capital R sticker on the back) or was an auction item then you can either call Sansa (although they aren't much help with refurbs). If you aren't afraid of working with small objects, are reasonably intelligent, and own a screwdriver, then you may want to clean the contacts (I don't know if this will void an existing warranty or not). Instructions are at: http://joustin.com/?page_id=10 Note, he uses rubbing alcohol but a less messy method is to use the eraser from a standard #2 pencil (pink eraser) to do the cleaning. (Alternately you can use any contact cleaner spray made before 1990 without opening the Sansa...of course the good stuff was banned for manufacture so newer stuff may not work)

Sansa c150 player getting Hang

It could be your firmware. Try updating/upgrading the firmware with the firmware updater from www.sandisk.com

This has worked for me. Good luck! (and come back and let us know if it worked!)
