Your best bet is to Reformat, reinstall your Operating System
But if not able to...
Run a Full Version Antivirus Program ( a free one is AVG)
Norton, McAfee, Panda, etc... And Do a full system scan..
Also Run SpyBot Search And Destroy (a free dowwnload)
And AdAware.. (also a free Download).
And Try...
open the registry editor (Start->Run and type regedit) navigate to the keys
- HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
shell(killer.exe or xmss.exe)
- HKCU\Software\Microsoft\windows\Currentversion\Run
Runonce(c:\windows\xmss.exe)
and delete xmss.exe.
Hopefully this will solve the problem.
But if not able to...
