Hampton bay fans

posted by Skyhawk1 on Jun 04, 2008

I have three new hampton bay fans with light kits. They all have remotes. Sensors sit ontop of each fan. The light switch for each fan have the duplex switches. With each fan/light set to separate duplex settings only the fan/light set to the original duplex can be controlled either by the light switch or the remote. With all three on the same duplex setting they can each be controlled by the light switch and the remote. Problem is When you turn the fan/light on in one room all three turn on. How can I get these fan/lights to be independent operations from the remotes and the light switch????

inside the remote, and inside the transmitter above the fan there are 4 tiny keys that set the frequency. set each frequency different then the remotes will only operate that fan. However if two lights r on and one off, when u turn the switch off they all go off, and when u turn it back on the same ones should come on. Then label the remotes!!!
