When I bought my DS90 digital telescope it came with a manual and a cd. I lost them both. I know I need the manual to learn how to use it. I'm not sure if I need the cd that came with it I can't remember what the cd was for. I know I can hook the telescope up to my computer but do I need the disk too? It's the telescope that will find stars that you tell it to find.

I have the 402 power astrolon telescope (item 36755), with the wooden tripod. I have the manual and the original CD (there's probably a more updated version--I've had this for approx. 10 yrs.). As for the manual, if you haven't found one, I'll make a copy and send it to you (it's only 6 small pages). Also, their customer service number is 800-637-3455. Hope this helps. email@example.com
Sorry there are no manuals for that small telescope. It is either a REFRACTOR style telescope with a lens in the front, or a REFLECTOR with a mirror in the bottom.
Depending on which one-- they all assemble and are used in a similar fashion. Look around the Bushnell manual web site for one similar to your scope and download the manual for free. Use this to learn the scope.
You will need to register to download it. The manual will NOT help you learn how to use your telescope. It only has assembly instructions. Objects in the sky are tiny and dim, smaller than the tip of your finger held at arms length.
The manual WILL NOT show you how to find objects in the sky. Also which Rokinon do you own the number you gave is not enough information. See this web site: http://www.pronto.com/user/search.do?displayQuery=rokinon%20telescope&SEM=true&query=rokinon%20telescope&adid=1257527498-7823004d-0_gs&ref=rokinon%20telescope&creativeid=3404631457&site=
More information needed and you will NOT find a specific assembly manual for that scope. However they all assemble in a similar fashion based on TYPE of telescope-- Refractor or Reflector.
Meade brand maintains a web site with all their manuals. Look under either the REFLECTOR or REFRACTOR header for one that is similar to your scope and download it for free.
Again the manuals DO NOT TELL YOU how to find objects in the sky. I would recommend that you buy these two books which will help you learn what you can see at night.
"Turn Left at Orion" and "Nightwatch". Both are available at any large bookstore or on Amazon.com.
Read my TIPS on my profile page, and read these two web sites to learn about the TYPES of telescopes and MOUNTS for telescopes. http://www.texasastro.org/telescope.php
Astronomy is a learned skill- I would suggest that you contact a local Astronomy club and attend their meetings and their free star parties-- ask lots of questions and see what kind of telescopes they use.
