Question about Philips Magnavox 51MP392H Rear Projection Television
My tv is showing a red, green shadow behind all images. I don't know what's wrong with it, one day i turn it on and this shadows started. What can i do to fix it should i call a tech?
if i was working on this tv,i would replace the convergence ics(the two big ones mounted vertical attached to aluminum sink they are called STK 392-120 double check that number please see on the original part in tv)if you don't have a soldering pencil buy one of 25watts this are better on this kind of jod buy desolder wick and do a search on internet of how to change convergence ic on projection tvs,IMPORTANT IN THIS MODEL DON'T BUY GENERIC CHEAP ICS,BUY ONLY THE ORIGINAL ONES OR YOU MIGHT BURN THE TUBES AND REPAIR COST WILL BE SUPER EXPENSIVE,buy ics from www.pacifsemi.com you'll get original for only 9.99 compared to other site at 14.99 or more for original, thanks, and let me know how it was,JUST DO IT.
