Question about Hard Drives
On the Printer Screen it appears- "49.4C18 ERROR"
This appears when I configure JetDirect Properties.
This is related to firmware.
If you connect a parallel cable direct to a PC, then send the firmware directly to the printer.
This typically fixes the issue.
go to DOS command and type:
copy /b *.rfu lpt1
You must be in the folder where the RFU file is located.
You must also have one RFU file in this folder.

Tips for a great answer:
Anytime the Error 301 messages appear on your computer, it is due to corrupt or damaged system files.
If you do not fix this error immediately, it can lead to additional system issues, blue screens and hardware problems.
Frozen programs, installer errors, random shutdowns, system freezing and sluggish computer performance are common symptoms of the Error 301.
Fortunately, you can fix the Error 301 with features native to your computer.
Click "Start" and then "Computer." Right-click "C" and select "Properties."
Select the "Tools" tab and click "Check now." Select "Continue" if the User Account Control prompt displays.
Select the "Automatically Fix File System Errors" option and click "Start." Agree to reschedule the check for the next system restart.

restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse
allowing you to attempt to repair your computer
you could select the option start at last known configuration that worked this will tell what file has been corrupted or missing or it might be a hardware problem

click start control panel administration tools computer management in the left panel events + to expand then system you will see all errors in
right panel right click select properties this will tell you what has occurred and the time it occurred and you might be able to work your through the problem
