we need to replace our cook top. For some reason it cracked in several areas. Model number is jbp68soh2ss. Serial number is zf2107020. The entire top part of the stove will have to be replaced. How can we get this and instructions to reapir?

Most appliance repair shops can order the part(s) for you. Replacement isn't difficult as long as you are careful. Just under the top lip (above the oven door) there are screws that hold the front in place. Carefully check the scews to determine which ones need to be removed to release the top.
