How do I retrieve diagnostic codes from a 1991 Rolls Royce Silver Spur 3

Check to see if you have a round connector by the fuse box. You may have a black button to get codes out. What's your chassis number?

You can use one of those silly code readers BUT it will not give you what the codes mean,and suprise,suprise ROLLS ROYCE will NOT give you the code meanings.....best solution is to take the car to a dealer and ask them to do a diagnostic report (in writing) this will cost BUT you can then decide if you are capable of the repair yourself.....alternatively you could try the RR owners club.CO.UK.(USED TO BE A MEMBER)
