Volume button sticks and raises to max level and cannot be turned down.

It sounds from your description there is a fault in the audio section electronics rather than with the button.

Pioneer Radio in 95 Ford F-150 doesnt produce sound

Maybe there is a separate amp with an open fuse.

I have a Kenwood KDC 135 car stereo wont un mute.

behind the face plate there is a little recessed reset button. push it using the tip of a pen or similar. that will fully reset the radio to like it was when you bought it.

Some times head units hicup. this is how you reset it. In most error cases this solves the problem.

My pioneer deh-p5500mp Car Radio

hmm.. thats a nice radio, not too shaby heheh...

Well your car radio should have a Blue wire with a white stripe for the remote, in case you are interested in the user manual (wich im guessing you dont have)

Go to:
http://www.nodevice.com/user_manual/pioneer/car_audio/deh-p5500mp.html

it has a diagram of the harness and it shows a blue/white remote wire, so im guessing that you bought it used and probably got a different harness with your car radio... but then again thats too weird

you could do a check to see if thats really the problem... just feed 12V From the power terminal of your amp to the remote terminal, that should turn your amp on and you should be able to listen to your car radio's output (id suggest not setting the volume all the way up when doing this XD)

Hope it helps

Power goes on and off-flickers

That is most likely because the radio is drawing more power than the wire can provide. First make sure you have good connections, especially a good clean ground. Next make sure the power wire from the boat is at least the same size or thickness as the power wire on the radio. If that doesnt work, you may want to wire the radio directly to the battery, using an aftermarket inline fuse and wire available at any car audio store.

Try pulling it out of the bracket and checking the fuse or jiggling the wires ;o

Automatic Antenna

sounds like a new aerial is needed, if noone has messed with the wiring...

get someone to turn on the radio while you listen near the aerial...

if it sounds like it is making an effort to work then it could be the nylon runner...

if it doesnt make a sound check the power & earth connections at both ends, behind the stereo & at the antenna.

some have 3 wires power,earth & switched.
some only a switched & earth.
