Does the PC work with the ethernet cable connect to your router.?
cat/5/6 cable, it will most times. all times. usuallyu
NO PC stated, no OS stated, how can anyone guess
with just (2 words, computer + wireless)
wifi you meant Im sure but you can put on a 3/4G card and run that. and that too is wireless. but I be you don't have 4G.
does you CELL phone wifi connect to the router?
if not they you are using the wrong credentials.

what is wrong is simple (kinda)
1: the wifi card/chip driver is wrong /missing or 1/2 loaded.
2: the settings for wifi are wrong, in the setups.
what we do is go to the router, read what setup credentials are there. WEP /WPA or WPA2
the get the passphase from there (was word)

that begs the question who owns the router you or the ISP
if they own it , then its locked, and you must call them and get the to disclose the login credentials. (after its locked)
if not locked , tell me the maker name of the router and model and we can set it up.

if you can not CELL phone, (android ) settings, turn on wifi
if that fails , then you need help setting up the router
on most cases the ISP puts sticker on the back of the router
(nice IPS) that tell you your wifi settings.
if not , you must call them

SOURCE: Wireless Button Disabled

After one month of trying everything, I finally figured this one out.  First turn off and restart your computer.  Then press F10 to enter the System BIOS Settings.  Select F9 (Setup Defaults) and when it asks Load Default Configuration Now? , Enter YES.  Then, press F10 (Save and Exit) and when it asks Save Configuration Changes And Exit Now, Enter YES.  This should restore the wireless LAN button to its original factory settings.  Once you restart the computer the button will be listed as disabled, but press on the button and it should work again.  I hope this helps someone else out!

SOURCE: i have a hp pavilion dv9000. it had an bluetooth

If enabling blue tooth from the keyboard does not work anymore, then you usually need to reinstall Bluetooth drivers again.

to download drivers click on the link below, select the model, select the operative system version, then select Network Driver and reinstall bluetooth drivers from there.

HP Pavilion dv9000 Entertainment Notebook PC series - Download

If this does not solve the problem, then the bluetooth module ( a mini PCI card) may be defective. In that case an opriton could be installing an external bluetooth: TRENDnet TBW-105UB Network adapter - USB

SOURCE: My wireless is stuck on disable. HP Pavilion dv7

Well there is 2 things you can do. One is the QuickPad at the top of the laptop, there is a blue antenna figure at the top right and if it is on blue, then it is on, if orange, then off. Run your finger across it and it should turn on. Another way is on the taskbar at the bottom, you will see a computer monitor with a globe in front of it. Click on that and connections and the ability to turn on your wi-fi will be all there.

I was having problems connecting to a network, somehow I hit disable and now it seems dead, I went into the icon and it says no card found, no lights nothing, how do I bring it back re- enable it

Assuming you're in Windows, Hit the start button, right-click computer/my computer, hit manage.

This will bring you to the computer management console. Open the Device Manager from the left pane.

Expand the "Network Adapters" option listed. From here, you can enable/disable your Network Card or check for up to date drivers.

This model does have wireless. I had a similar problem a little while ago, I plugged the unit in to a wired connection, and on it's own, disabled the wireless adapter.
Go to start--> control panel--system-->hardware-->device manager

look under the "network adapters", there should be a wireless adapter or 802g something something, right click on this item and click "enable".

You should then be able to browse for wireless networks now.

Wireless cannot detect any network despite claims to be working fully

Try first dissabling the wired network adaptor, so as the pc is not looking for the wrong area connection. If you have used Windows to try to repair the connection the settings will be wrong for the router addreses. Go to your wireless network cards properties and make sure that on the internet protocol the obtain IP address automatically is selected. Run this flush:- Click Start>Run, then type ipconfig /flushdns then press enter. Re-start pc and type the routers address in your internet browser. Go to your router settings and ensure enable DHCP is set to automatically allocate ip addresses.
