Hi, for Win 7, you cannot use activesync, you need to use the Mobile Device Centre, also from Microsoft, free download. This will load the drivers into Windows7 such that it will recognise the Symbol/Motorola MC3190 when it is docked to an attached cradle Note: for some applications you could previously set the "Guest Only" flag in Regedit for an ActiveSync and the handheld would not ask about the connection each time (assuming you do not want sync email) but in win7 it will ask each time.
Do you have Wireless Fusion on your machine? If so, Enable Radio-->Scan for your WLAN-->Connect with a profile. If all settings are correct, and still can't get it associated, try disabling 802.11d from Wireless Fusion Menu-->Options-->Regulatory-->uncheck 802.11d.
Mine works after disabling this. Hope it'll work for you
