This does not make any sense at all. There is a setting somewhere in your computer that you have checked to make it do this. You might try right clicking on the properties of the cards or the card reader to see if the setting is there somewhere. What Operating System are you using?

Older Card readers do not read SDHC memory cards. If the card reader is built in then you probably cannot do anything about it, but you can buy a new USB Card reader to read the card.

Camera says: "card locked" when trying to use card

You didn't specify what type of card, so I'll assume it's either an SD or an SDHC card.

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

I want to unprotected or write protection off my SD card by using usb card reader

It's the card, not the reader. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. your SD card will only fit into of of the slots on your card reader.
look at the card reader and look at your card. There should be a **** that is on the card reader almost the same size as your card. Insert it into the slot.
