I want to use my symphony Ft 10 as a web-cam but when i open my yahoo messenger the video shows blank

Open messenger,click on messenger name top left.Then click on my web cam.When web cam screen opens click on file,then preferences,then camera source.Make sure camera source shows name of the web cam your using.If not select from drop down list.

first make sure your web cam is perfectly ok. open yahoo messenger login your account click messenger menu then click view webcam then a window will open a warning message check donot show again then ok then choose you internet connection choose broadband then it will open a window with your webcam.
if you want your friends to view your webcam just chat with them, and in action menu click invite to view my webcam. you can see in your webcam window how many viewers you have and if you are broadcasting.

To use the webcam in Messenger 10
.> Actions > More Actions > Invite to view my webcam

sir my prob is that my web cam work in video calling but nut work in web cam it show black screen

Please make sure that your web cam is not been in use by any other messenger or its in use.

If the web cam is open or being used by any other messenger then it will not work on other platform.

Since few days there is some issue with yahoo messenger's audio and video.

Normal 0 Also send this to your family and friends so they have their computer setup properly.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html ) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

in your YM.. open the Messenger tool bar.. then.. My Web cam.. then.. .Preferences.. then Camera source... and select the installed webcam.. and see how it works..

under c:\windows\bisoncam there is a program that will allow u to change this.

Need to open messenger,click on messenger name next to contacts.There click on my web cam.Once web cam opens click on the file,preferences,camera source.Make sure your camera name shows in the camera slot.If not set it there with the drop down list or type it in.Should work now.
