Question about HP DeskJet 3325 InkJet Printer

Not able to print

I am unable to print anything off. The greenlight keeps flashing!. Was all working before i changed the ink cartridge.
help

Faulty cartridge. Yes, it happens. Specially if it is not an HP replacement. Try inserting the old one and see if it stops the light. If it works, get a refund on your new cartridge.
By the way, did you remove the tape from the contacts before installing?

Did you replace the ink cartridge with a new one, or did you refill an old one.

Some printers have a memory and can tell which ink cartridge is in them. This prevents them from easily being fooled into printing with refilled cartridges.

Another option is that you changed the ink cartridge without following the specific guidelines for replacement e.g. To replace the ink cartridge, select replace ink cartridge from the main menu, then open the printer panel when the light flashes X number of times.

You might also try unplugging the printer for a couple of minutes the reset it.

Blinking red light, unable to turn off or print


From the looks of your printer. I'd say that one of your ink has a problem. The part where you put the cartridge in, is where your problem lies. YOu'll prob need to get it checked out by an HP dealer.

try changing the ink cartridge and see if that helps.

Put in new ink cartridge -- won't print


Try lifting up the cover. If the ink level is low in a print cartridge, the Print Cartridge Status light stops flashing. If the problem is not related
to low ink, the light continues to flash after the cover is opened. It might be that the new cartridge is defective. Check the connections and see if there isn't anything keeping it from making contact.

Ink light keeps flashing -


Have you made sure that you've taken the plastic strip off of the ink cartridge? I had this problem once and I then realised that i had forgotten to remove the strip covering the ink.
Also, have you installed a colour cartridge? I have the same printer and it wont print unless you have both ink cartridges inserted and in good condition. (If you don't want to fork out for HP Original, I find that the Tesco Remanufactured versions work fine)

Printer is on but cannot print


if your power light is off and the paper and ink lights are flashing try this.
1. remove all the paper,
2. open the cover and check for paper jam
3. make sure the ink cartridge lid is securley in place by opening and re closing the ink cartridge lid
reclose the lid, disconnect the power supply and hold the power button for 30 seconds. reinstall the power plug and turn the printer back on.

Orange flashing light on printer


No the ink is not to low you could try removing the ink cartridges and using a soft cloth wipe clean the little gold contacts on the cartridge and also the printer. Is the ink cartridge a original one if not even though the HP software states that there is 20% in there the likely thing is that the cartridge is empty replace and this should be OK.


I hope the first suggestion works for you as will not cost any money.

I keep getting an error message- unable to clean....I just bought and installed new ink cartridges, and the machine is still having trouble - I cannot print at all now. There seems to be no way to clear...


The waistinktank has to be replaced. DO NOT only reset the code but change the waistinktank! Otherwise ink will flow into the machine and will cause serious damages!!!!!!!! See link how to do that: http://www.fixya.com/support/t202485-cleaning
