Question about Intel Desktop Board D850GB Motherboard

D850gb wont power up

Hi got power to the board.i think the problem is to do with the jumpers

I have an Intel D850GB board, could I add a PCI SATA port card, to use a larger HDD, sau 1TB?


yes.

but see if your psu(power supply unit) have a sata power cord. on that case you can buy a converter.

D850GB power problem


The reason that your AGP card fans are on and your drives are on is simple because those devices have power.
If the fan on the processor isn't working, then look for the wire that rut ns out of the fan and into the motherboard. Make sure that's plugged in. If it's not, then plug it in, but if it isn't this most likely means that your Heat Sink/Fan is broken. I woulnd't start your computer if the fan isn't working because your processor might overheat. One thing, if it doesn't beep, that means that it's not posting, which means start up tests are failing. Right now it seems like your processer is the problem right now, but I would take it to a repair center just to be sure.

might be a faulty powersupply. try replacing your powersupply and see it works.
