You have to tighten the spring inside where the cord goes. The pull cord pulls on leverage by using a clock like spring like a lawn mower. You have to take it all the way apart. The cord part. To get to the spring.

It is strange answering this in a computer section. I answer computer questions and this is certainly not a computer question. Unless you have a wind up computer. Now I have heard of these. Where are you located, if this is a wind up computer.

Power connections were u put the power cord connected it won't charge the connection in the tablet were power cord goes in its broken can it be fix

There is a good chance it can be fixed, you would need to search for the replacement part you need and simply replace the needed part, I have a Nexus 7 1st gen and I am in need of a new charging port myself but was able to make it work by opening it up and pinch the piece back together til I get a new part. Often times the connection will be just loose and you can do that but other times the pins are warn down.

The motherboard maybe damaged beyond repair because you only see broken tracks on the top layer and most likely other circuit tracks are broken in the other layers on the motherboard.

Toshiba Satellite A205-S5000 i changed a broken screen and now computer does not start, it seems like is a power problem, the power lid turns red as soon the computer starts

Sounds like while replacing it you may have clipped or forgotten to attach a cord when putting it back together. I'd open her up, and look at everything you touched, and see what isn't hooked up or what cable is broken. If you find none, it's very possible you gave your computer a static shock and fried your motherboard. If that's the case, get a new PC.

I opened the fan compartment of my laptop (which involves opening a large part of the bottom) to clean out the fan coz it was making a lot of noise. I put it back together and not the stupid thing won't...

When you insert the power cord are any of the lights?
Make sure to remove battery when trying this.

If not, your adapter may be faulty and you can try and measure the voltage coming from your adapter with a multimeter? Put one probe on the inner part of the power cord end that goes in your laptop and the other end on the outer part.

Dell inspiron 6000 power cord connection

Hi

I am afraid it is going to be a a bit of work taking the laptop apart, solder the power jack than put back together.

If you are not confident to doing it i suggest you seek help by having a repair shop/centre service it for you. If the laptop is under warranty, you are better of raising a warranty call.

Anyway, you will need some screw drivers; small Flat and a Philips heads. You will also need soldering iron and lead. Finally, a work table will make things easier.

Check Replacing the System Board for help access the system board. Check and solder yo the power jack carefully and reverse the steps to put the laptop together.

Let me know how you get on.

Mike
