How do i change my phone from numbers to letters

Hold down the # button and the letter will change to a capital letter. It can also change to numbers after holding it down for a long time.

Some phones have a setting in them that makes it announce every number/letter when you press it. It is usually under settings and then phone settings or sounds settings. What is the make and model number and I could tell you where the setting is that you need to change.

menu-messaging-left soft key for settings-entry mode. This will make your text be in letters rather than numbers and then all you need to do is change the letters to numbers in the address of one text and it will continue to be numbers.

NAME DISPLAY
NOTE: Display Dterm
A name with up to 16 characters can be entered to display the name on
other Dterm telephones when making a call.
• Press Speaker key, Receive dial tone.
• Dial the Name Assignment access code and receive special dial tone.
• Using the keypad, depress the key with the desired letter to display the
first letter on the key. The
display will indicate the
numerical designation.
Subsequent depressions will
advance through the letters
on that key. The Dial Pad Key

guide to indicate the key and
the number of depressions required to display numbers, letters, spaces

• When the desired letter is displayed, depression of the Transfer key will
change the letter to a lower case letter (default is upper case). Depress
the Hold key to enter that letter and advance to the next entry.

Press "intercom" button, then #621. Use * to move the cursor all the way to the left. Use the # sign to change from numbers to Alpha. For example: You want "N", but the "M" comes up. Press the "0" to toggle to additional letters on same number key. For a SPACE, use the number 1 and toggle to get a space.

try to set the phone on factory defaults, check settings its the last option. deafult security code is 0000000

Well, depending on the system that you're using, it may vary on how you change the name.

Assuming that you have a DK Strata series:

Press INTCM, #, 6, 2, 1
Press # (Changes Numbers to Letters)
Press 1 (Cursor Left)
From there just type in your name according to the numbers, and Press 0 to toggle the letter.

Press SPKR to end the process.

Pick up the handset and press down on the direction button until the display reads "123" instead of "ABC" or "abc"

When entering in an address for a sale, you usually only need to put in the numbers of the street address. If your system does require letters, hit the number that goes along with that letter (example: 1 would have A-C) and then hit the alpha button until the number is changed to the letter you want.

This will fix your issue

Do this:

Feature # *
Hit # (8) times
Hit show
Enter 04-05-101~156 (101~156 is whatever extension number you are trying to change)
Press chg
Use the keypad to change the name pressing # after each letter
When you are done entering the name make sure you press # after the last letter or it won't show
pick up and hang up the handset
