LG 50PC1D -EC The on off botton is come off,think the spring inside is broken,so we use the remote to put it on and off,but every morning when you try to turn it on,it turn's it self off four or five times. i want to know is the the a way to take the panel off and fix the button.If you can help. thank you

well theres springs under the r and l bumpers so the springs may have came out so the bottons dont work take it to a pro so he can take it appart and put the spring back in place it happend with my bro

Could be the IR reciever inside the tv but also a broken remote.

Some times your remote gets wet are if its to old you need to take a little sand paper and take out your batterys and lightly sand the battery springs and that does help always make sure if you have a universal remote make sure you hit the tv,vcr,dvd botton. before you hit the power botton the led light that you target at your tv make sure that it has not been hit are as been broken if it has it will not work at all

my lg door keeps on falling done something wrong with door springs ; how do i repair it.

It's possible that the spring clip behind the power button is broken and won't allow the power button to fully make contact. That's a fairly inexpensive fix. Or, some of the cables/wires could be loose, but I'm thinking (from your description) that it may just be the spring clip.

I think i can help you with your problem.Disconnect all cable componets from the tv everything but the tv power cord once this is done unplug the tv for 60 seconds plug the tv back in. take the tvs original remote take the bateries out once there out point the remote at the tv hold the power botton down for 30 seconds while still pointing at tv then. put bateries back into the remote and the msg should be gone.
