http://www.geeksquad.fixya.com/ThreadView.aspx?prdid=0&thid=573215 Generic problem for all Kitchen Ranges Frigidaire electric range fef326ab bought Posted by keepcooking on May 05, 2008 Frigidaire electric range fef326ab bought in Oct 2005 heating element sparked while baking and now there is a hole in element, what could have caused this and could it be fixed, or will i have to buy new range? Hello, I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR APPLIANCE before beginning any service procedure. To the best of my knowledge you can replace the heating element with a genuine part from Frigidaire, this happened to me on my water heater and the element just got old and too hot and it just popped and left one to three holes in the element and I just replaced it. I would have it done by an appliance specialist or your local appliance repair person. When ordering the part remember to give the Brand name, Model # and they might ask for the Serial #. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local appliance dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions. http://www.frigidaire.com/products/products.asp Contact Us Customer Contact Center- USA 1-(800) 374-4432Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST Canada 1-(800) 265-8352Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST Extended Service Agreements 1-(866) 386-5286 Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm EST Order Genuine Frigidaire Parts 1-(800) 599-7569 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST Mailing address: Electrolux Home products P.O.
