I am attempting to repair my uploader whirlpool washer, I have removed the drum, however I hear lot of water inside the drum still, what should I do? is it normal?

Yes that is normal. That is your balance ring. It's an ingenious device that acts as a counterweight to keep the tub balanced. All is good.

My whirlpool washer seems to be letting water back flow from the drain line.

sounds like the drain line is too low it needs to be higher than the water level when running a full load...you can check this buy filling with water and stoping the cycle and see where the water stops draining im sure it will stop at the level of your drain line in the back of the washer. the drain line in the back of your washer should come out of the bottom of the washer and then go up to a drain pipe..if its lower than the full water level of the washer then gravity will take over and drain the water... i hope this helps

My whirlpool front loading washing machine keeps stopping before the rinse cycle. I've cleaned the filter and the drain hose as well as all the inlet hoses. It stops and all the lights flash and it wont...

While it stops to rinse , does it drain off? if not there is block on the drain valve and so there is an error on the board because the water level sensor has to switch OFF and then ON to confirm that water has come in for rinsing.
So if the cycle is absent the possible fault can be the program controller. So you need to check the actions when the fault occurs, check for drain,.then after drain the inlet valve must open to allow water and then the water flow must cut off to start the motor.
If there is no action and output then the controller can be defective.

My washer is full of water that wont drain and keeps saying "sd" and "ld" and wont let me change cycles..

Your machine is taking too long to drain. Check the outlet, pump inlet and filter for obstructions. Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

Whirlpool washing machine wont stop all lights

Check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out.

While the machine is on press "end of cycle" for 3 seconds, then wait for 2 minutes to try the door. Try this again if it does not open, this is the child lock program - to lock and unlock; it is the same procedure.

How abt a nice rating for the free help? Thnks

Whirlpool washer AWM 5145/5 water wont drain/stops on B

I had same problem twice, the first time there was a sock in the filter at the front adjoining the pump, the second time a sock had got in the pipe under the drum which is more awkward to get to but is possible if you have the tools to remove the back plate and are ok at diy, there is a spring tension clip on the pipe which comes off quite easily with a pair of pliers.
