Go back to where the generator is installed. You will see there is a grey control cable going into the right side of the generator where all the plumbing lines are. At the very end of the cable you will see there is a red, white, black and maybe a brown strand coming out of the end of the grey cable that goes into a molex connection that plugs into the side of the generator. Keep in mind where you see the red and white strand connected, which should be the two top female ports on the 4 port connection. Unplug the cable and take a metal paperclip or jumper wire and jump across the two top ports, keep the connection in place. This should cause the unit to fill and then produce steam. If it does, this could mean the controller has gone bad, possibly due to moisture damage. You can also remove the controller from the wall and jump the red and white wire that connects to the back of that controller just the same to isolate if the control cable is bad.

Not enough steam

This may either be because you may not have the correct generator(either the wrong size model or the wrong voltage generator) or the heating element may be damaged, although this would be unlikely being it is a new generator. Go to and size your room. Remember it is important to have the exact room dimensions AS WELL as material of the wall (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone etc) due to the fact that wall material is largely where you have all your heat loss and units have to be sized accordingly to the wall material of your shower otherwise you would surely end up with the wrong size.

Error code Prr on Mr. Steam control unit. Steam generator starts for about 10 seconds, but no steam comes out and error code "Prr" shows on control unit. Any insights?

I had this problem, and checked the connections, emptied the resivour, and refilled it, and it had no effect.
To fix the problem, I ran the regular shower on hot for 10 minutes to warm up the shower chamber. Then, when I pressed the power button on the steam shower, it displayed "110" as normal.
The problem with "Prr" appears to be that the temp sensor is reporting a value out of range. Heating the shower chamber (and therefore sensor) provides a good value to the sensor, which then allows the shower to operate.
Try warming up your sensor by running the shower.

Steam Shower shuts down immediately now.

probably scale build up from tap water unfiltered. Scale caused by mineral deposits will affect safety systems and auto cut offs in the unit
