Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

You will need to install the disk that came with the mouse. If you do not have that then you can go to the manufacturers website under the support section and download the drivers/software from there. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

My new Nexxtech NWOMMI cordless mouse is not working

Here is what I found about the Nexxtech Notebook Wireless Mouse (NWOMMI):

1. The 2 AAA batteries must be inserted correctly. Look carefully at the "+" and "-" marking on top of the battery compartment and put your batteries in accordingly. Otherwise the mouse will not work, and could be damaged. After the batteries are inserted, the red light at the bottom of the mouse should come on. More on batteries below.
2. Insert the USB receiver into a USB port. The blue light should come on. Press the little button next to the blue light and the light should start to blink,
3. Whild the blue light is blinking, press the connect button at the bottom of the mouse. It is the big black dot inside the white label. Check that the blue light on the receiver is blinking faster, and then change to a steady light.
4. Now check the function of the mouse by moving it on a texture surface.
5. If all goes well, your mouse should be working.

However, here is the bad news. Either due to bad design or some flaw in manufacturing, the mouse consume batteries like crazy. I used fully charge NiMH AAA batteries and they last for only a few hours! And the worst part is that, I checked the batteries when the mouse stop working, ONE of the batteries is COMPLETELY drained, in fact it registered a reverse voltage of -0.1 volts (a charged values is +1.2 volts). This is definitely engineering problem. Note that even when the batteries are in this state, the red light may still come on, and sometimes the re-connection seems to be ok (i.e. the blue light blink faster and then changed to steady). However, the cursor will not work when you move the mouse! Recharging the batteries and the mouse will work again.

Based on the above observation, the mouse instead of having a power-saving feature, it actually has a power-wasting feature!!!
