Place the mouse cursor over the bottom right screen, you will see an icon I need to connect ThinkPad R60 to my wireless - 2q==

select it and right click , go to OPEN NEWTORK .. i assume you have high speed modem thats linked to a a router -- select YOUR newtork name -- the others are surrounding neigbours that are close proximity to your network. you will have to know the password or key to enter

if you dont know that get in contact with your ISP and get them to help you connect

please post a positive feedback response for me

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Welcome to Fixya

Make sure that all driver are installed. Especially the wireless LAN driver. Go to control panel then click on system then click device manager. Look for the network adapter category. There should be no exclamation mark to any of the devices listed there. You can download all your computer drivers here. If everything are ok then all you need to do is to go to control panel. Click network connection. Look for icon named Wireless then click on it. Search your router and connect to it.

My wireless is getting off every 2 to 3 fter it is switched on ibm r60

If your wireless is disconnecting you after a few minutes it could be interference anything on 2.4GHZ will interfere with a wireless connection, baby monitors, chicken wire, big aquariums, Marble flooring. If using Win XP right click on your wireless network connection icon in the control panel under network connections and click properties, then click the advanced tab. Make sure IEEE enabled is NOT checked. If it is thats probably the reason its disconnecting you.
